Donna's Story
I'm not sure you will like my response to this question. What I remember about all my school years, especially high school is not fitting in. Being overweight, I was continually riduculed and you wouldn't believe what some of the kids did to me over the years.
Between my junior and senior years I lost 40 pounds and people I had known most of my life had no idea who I was. Guys were hitting on me non stop. I don't have very happy memories about high school and really don't have any desire to r...Expand for more
eturn to see those people who were so cold and callus back then. Heck, they'd probably still be snickering at me.
I have a wonderful life and am blessed with a great husband, three stepsons and a grandson. Since I'm grown, I can certainly choose my friends and I can tell you, I have no time or patience for shallow people.
My best friend from kindergarten beyond high school, Sylvia Ramirez, died several years ago, as did my father, so I certainly don't have any reason to return to Yucaipa.
