Donna's Story
After High School I went to work at the Santa Fe Railway Co. in Los Angeles, as a Secretary.
It was there that I met my first husband, Tony Brown. Tony and I had 2 children, first a girl,
Colleen and then a boy, Aaron. We lived in Temple City at a house we bought after we had
our son. I returned to school when the children were older (11 & 12 yrs. old). After attending

ClinicaL Art Therapy and then later became licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist.
Tony and I divorced before I finished college. Fast forward - in 2001 I met a man named
Larry Whelan. We had a lot of interests in common and were married in 2002. We are
now both retired and still living in my house in Temple City. We have traveled a lot in our
soon-to-be 20 yr. marriage and are enjoying life.
