Donna's Story

Donna is from Rector, Arkansas. She is widowed. Her schools include Caruthersville High School. She works(ed) at All Over The Place. Music Donna likes includes Black Oak Arkansas, Joe Walsh, The Grindstone Plowboys. Books she likes include Just Because I Appear Happy_Doesn't Mean Everything's Okay.. One of Donna's favorite quotes is:"There are a lot of things I've seen and done but I've never had to much fun!". More about Donna:"Living in woods in Ar, healing my heart and soul. Fell in love with a worthless man and nearly let him kill me.Tryed to help my kids and they'd rather take, use and abuse and lie like dogs untill they got eveverything and threw me out. Family had rather listen to lies and gossip than truth and their all liers and users and haters. I'd rather be in woods alone any day than around haters and drama and I am. Besides they've gotten last dime they'll ever get from me. I'll spend what's left or give to strangers before them. Nothing I've done for any of them, even get them from homeless shelters and raise them makes them any difference. If you tell them anything you might as well put it in the paper and it won't be what you said anyway. They love you until they get everything they can and then you're garbage. They say they want something and send it back...unless it's worth a lot. They'll all stab you in back and they owe you. They have no trouble calling and saying We Need. Well I wish them good luck now bc they lost someone that loves them...from a distance. I have a great knack for helping people that don't appreciate it and turn on you. I used dogs while ago and was wrong. My dogs are loyal,...Expand for more
protective and if I leave and come back are soo happy to see me. I'll take dogs over people any day. Their all too worried about whos getting what. I've figured out matetial things don't bring you peace or happiness. I'm not going back there ever. Not even for my own Fathers funeral when happens, don't want in war. I will live alone and die alone before I'd ask them to help me if I was dying. In fact was told at own home that if I had 6 mos to live I'd still have to leave. No time to look out for me. That pretty much sums up how much I mean to them. Nothing is enough and wish I'd done Nothing ever. Oh well, you live and learn. When you're down and out your enemies are supposed to be strangers, not your family. I'd rather rely on the kindness of strangers than my "Family" or whatever it is. I know my Mom would be soo disappointed. She didn't judge anyone. She didn't think it her job. She believed everyone was as good as another. They think they're all above anyone. Even ones not born into it and moved on Greyhound Buses. I even had one to tell me he knew everything and was smarter than anyone. That's some funny stuff there. Guess they'll live and learn and I sure hope they never get down bc they're in for Huge Surprise. That's when they left me. Thank the Goddess for friends bc if I'd had to rely on them I'd be dead now instead of finding my calm and my self and my center and coming close to the Great Mother! Thank you my friends. Sorry you lost me Family, you don't know what you threw away and will probably be too late when you realize it. Remember I'll always love you untill my last breath...from a distance!".
