Donna's Story
Life
I didn't think I had much of a story to tell...until my friends started encouraging me to write a book. I have been blessed in many ways and spared of more pain than I am able to handle. I have been fortunate enough to have traveled across this beautiful country, spent lots of time on the east coast, several trips across the sea and lived for many years in Santa Barbara which may be one of the most beautiful places in the world.
The blessings in my life are my son James and daughter Jodi, six beautiful grandchildren, Jaymie, Heather, Anna Marie, Joseph, Sophia Elena, and Sarah Grace and eleven great grand children!!
About 43 years ago I had a good friend who encouraged me to become a Realtor. I enjoyed this more than any other profession I could have chosen. It was a roller ...Expand for more
coaster ride sometimes but i met some of the most wonderful people and made many life long friends.
In 2013 I had a ruptured brain aneurysm that I survived miraculously with no lasting effects other than the reality that I needed to slow down! I retired that year although kept my real estate brokers license ‘just in case’.
April of 2018 I lost my husband/best friend/life companion. I am grateful for our 19 years together and will miss him dearly.
Right now I am moving slowly, recovering from the loss of our Papa and decided to hold off making any life changing decisions until I have recovered from the loss. I am fortunate to have a few of my grand children and great grand children nearby to enjoy in my life. I stay busy and try to stay healthy!
