Donna's Story
I was married to Rick Tarcia for almost 15 years. He had a heart attack at the golf course (doing what he loved to do) at 50 yrs old. We have a great son, Jason, who is 17 now. I met my husband, Denne at the funeral home where we went for grieve support. He lost his wife to cancer in 2003. We started talking and my son at that time was 12, said to Denne.---My mom is really sad and really lonely, so if you want to marry her thats OK. I tried to be quiet at night, but I guess he could still her me cry. He is truly a very caring boy!!...Expand for more
At Rick's funeral, I thanked everyone for being either a work, sentence, page or chapter in his book of life. I believe we are all a book. There is a beginning and an end with alot of interesting information in the middle. Some books might be better than others, some are shorter and some are novels. We remember the good books and we will reread them in our hearts and minds over and over again. So enjoy your life and make your book of life a one to read forever and ever.Take care of your body, because we are not getting any younger.
