Donna's Story
Since graduation, I moved to Central Pa. Got married had 2 children, got divorced after 5 yrs of marriage. Met a man, wouldn't marry him, had another child. Went to nursing school. Got rid of man I wouldn't marry. Met a wonderful man, hung out with him. Diagnosed with Skin Cancer- told to get my affairs in order cause I wouldn't be alive in 5 yrs. (that was in 2000) Made pact with wonderful man to get married before I died. Went thru a year of tx's & obviously survived beyond the 5 yrs. bed. Have been happily married for 2 yrs now. Oldest daughter went off to University of Pittsburgh- majoring in Pharmacy, middle daughter will be a senior in 2008/09 school year, plans to go to Bloomsburg University and major in accounting. Youngest daughter has 5 more yrs to figure out what she wants to do. Steering them away from nursing! Have worked for the same company for 18 years, working with mentally/physically disabled. Believe I'm tired of working with people and want a job with no people involved! I guess that sums up my life for the past 23 yrs.
