Donna's Story
My Husband Dwight and I celebrated our 48th Anniversary in Spetember 2015 I lost him to cancer
1/18/2016.
We have been blessed with a wonderful daughter Candiece Nicole who is currently a PA-C, family
practice in the Oklahoma City area.
We also have been blessed with a fantastic
grandson Tabor Channing who turned 30this
past September... We are very proud of both
of our "kids.” And gorgeous two great granddaughters.
My husband retired from Lucent Technologies
in 2003 after 38 years.
I retired from work at our local hosptial as a PBX/Communications operator. I love my
work and was employed with a great group of people.
We transferred...Expand for more
to Oklahoma City in the fall of
1988 due to my husband's work. Our daughter
was a junior in high school at the time.. it was
not an easy task talking her into moving half
way across the country.
After high shcool, she married and we have been blessed with a fantastic grandson. Although going through a divorce.. our daughter completed her Masters Degree at the University of Oklahoma and became a PA-C and practices in family medicine. We
couldn't be more proud of her.
I guess most of us in the class of 1964 have hit that
70 + generation...but other than a few aches and pains ... we are very fortunate... The good Lord
as been very good to us.
