Began working for Borg Warner Chemicals Amsterdam in 1971 and held an evening job at Schipol Airport because I was so short of money. I was transferred to Brussels Belgium in 1973 and held an Admin job with the same company. Got my pilot's license and flew single engine planes for a number of years. Travelled all through Europe, Northern Africa, some countries in the Middle East. Met my husband, an American lawyer, in 1984 in Brussels. Moved to the US a year later, married, had my first child (a boy) in 1986, then in 1989 my husband was transferred to London England. te New York until 1995 then moved to Paris France where we lived for 6 years. Speak dutch and french fluently, met a lot of people, did a lot of travelling, ate fine food, bought antiques, enjoyed European life. We returned to the US last summer and we are currently living in Connecticut . Hopefully for quite some time. Our children who are now 17 and 11 are happy to be living in a neighborhood. I visit my family at least once a year, sometimes twice. I miss them and thank God that they are still healthy. Some of you know my brother Eddy who also went to Carson. He's the sweetest guy on earth and I always look forward to spending time with him as well as the rest of my family who all live in Vancouver. Hope to hear from some of my Carson classmates. Hope everyone is healthy and happy. All for now folks!! Grootjes, A bientot!
