Life Since leaving high school...I went to Western Ill. for a year...didnt like college...didnt know what I wanted to do...spent time working at IRS in Chicago, and then spent 15 years in the hotel industry in sales...came to Dallas in 1977 for a year and have been here ever since...I miss some snow but our winters are so nice...our summers are another story...I got married for the first time in 1989 to my husband Frank...we tried to have kids but no luck so....in 2000 we went to Moscow and adopted the cutest 16 month old little boy we have named Ryan...he is almost 10 and is in 4th grade...I am too old for this...most of my friends are into their grandchildren...but we are enjoying every minute...he brings great joy into our lives...I lost my sweet mom in 1993, then my sister in 1995 and finally, my daddy in 1998...that is it for my family...I am still very sad about that...I do get "home" to Lansing at least once a year to visit friends and go the the cemetary...I still stay in touch with a number of friends from school...I love to hear from someone from home...I have been a Realtor in Dall...Expand for more
