Class of 65, please contact me at the above email address. Our 35th reunion was celebrated in September of 2000. The 40th was not celebrated as the committee had major burnout. I am hoping we'll pull through and keep on chugging. You may want to consider participating early in the planning stages. We always had a blast, and the reunions have been wonderful. We have thought about just keeping it as simple as possible--being together and catching up on lives is the most important part. Let us hear from you and give me your latest information so we may keep our database current, in the event we want to reach out and send something to you. We will not distribute this information to any other source. We should all be grateful that we have made it into the new millennium and beyond.
All the more reason to keep in touch or get in touch. Life is just too short to not get the most out of it! Please contact me! Our committee has been together a long time, and have given a lot to keep the class of '65 united. Class of '65 rules! It would be nice to hear from you no matter when. Since committee burnout occured, there may not be an established committee next time. We may have to create a new committee. Even so, I'm always interested in the lives of my fellow classmates who shared the era with me and lived to talk about it. I am sure there are other folks out here interested in gathering the folks, or have new fresh ideas about what your expectations. If so, by all means contact me. LET'S NOT DROP THE BALL! THE MORE SENIOR WE GET THE MORE VALUE WE PLACE ON FRIENDSHIP AND COMPANIONS.

Keep reading as we plan our 50th, which is in the making, being held October 2-4 at the Fairview Marriott Hotel in Falls Church, with a $79 per night rate for WTW Class of '65. Mark your calendars. We want as many of you as can possibly make it to be there for this really special occasion and time in our lives.. Check back often as the plan unfolds. 2015 folks is our 50th year graduated from WTW. Class of '65 still rules!!! as we have all just passed the 65 marker. WOW!!! Time flies when you are having fun!!! I hope y'all are still having fun, and have remained as healthy as one can be at this stage of life. We sure hope many of you will return for the 50th, or come out for the first time to celebrate a major event such as this. If you have ideas you would like to share, pass them on, we are listening!!!! Pauline Zimpel, Mary Vaughan and I have set things in motion, and now our committee has reformed and all diligently working on OUR event. We are all so darn busy that it is hard to meet to get the plans going, but be patient, we are older now, and want to be treated more kindly and gently. Welcome aboard!!! We will plan our 50th, but you must plan on joining us to celebrate it. OKAY??? If you know of folks, and they have not been contacted it is because we don't have any updated information on them. Many of you a re retired, and have since changed email addresses or have moved and are no longer, or never have been or our database. Please help us find all our classmates. He has been trying to locate people for the past 5 years so that we could encourage them to join the fun at the 50th!!! Help us find folks!!! We don't want to leave anybody out this time around. This is SIGNIFICANT, MAJOR, MONUMENTAL and going to be MARVELOUS!! You gotta come!!!
We know money is always an issue, but this is a once in a lifetime occurrence. Yes, it sounds expensive--$100 per person, but break that down over a 5-year period since the last reunion, and it really isn't so bad. Yes, I understand for those of you not local, you have plane fare, or gas and wear and tear on the car, hotel arrangements, food, don't forget DRINKS, but still it is really, really worth it. At this stage of life, you are sure to have fun. It matters not what we look like anymore, it's really about friendship, comraderie, growing up in the same era with many similarities and lots in common. We went through the Vietnam War together, many of our classmates served in that war, some never returned fighting for the land of the free and the home of the brave. Please consider coming and sharing your story with us. We always honor our deceased, so if you know someone who has passed, please let us know. We are trying to get emails so we can send our classmates information about the coming reunion. If you have any to share, please pass them on. We would love to reunite with you!!! Seriously!!!
This is not a fancy occasion. It is a get together to celebrate ourselves. Pauline and I will prepare a hospitality suite for Friday night so we can gather as frequently as we can over the weekend, so when you arrive and get settled come on and meet us in the Hospitality Suite. The $100 covers the meal, the space, the entertainment, the fun, the decorations and whatever costs that will be incurred for that evening. Hotels run expensive as you all well know, so it is very hard to get away with anything very reasonable when you have to use this kind of venue. However, they agreed to give us $79. per nite rooms for as long as the block lasts, and they agreed to honor this price for all three nights, if you need to stay.
If you do stay over on Saturday night, we will try and meet in the restaurant for a Sunday morning brunch in the hotel, or perhaps, we can find another less expensive place to go for continued reminiscing. We are excited, and we hope your Cavalier spirit returns, and you decide to join us. Who knows if there will be a next time, we all certainly hope so. The idea is to see each other again, enjoy each other's company, and go home with some more good memories to ruminate over in our golden years. Let's kick back, relax and ENGAGE each other.

We need a headcount so we can go on with our plans, and be assured we have enough people and money to continue. I, personally, look forward to seeing you, and if you know me, then catching up for the past 50 years, and if you didn't know me, then let's do now.
