Donna's Story
Life....
Thanks for stopping bye.
So as of November 2009, I have taken my maiden name back and my lastname is now legally back to "Parham", but I tried to change it in the header, but some reason it won't change. Can't find the stupid number here to customer service, everything now of days you have to deal online with people or should I say, (somebody or something).
Well the years sure did fly by and you do learn from the things that life throws at you.
I'm doing good, health is good, "Life is Good". Single/(divorced) for some time now ( since 1986). No kids, I have a pet (dog) named "Jack", I bought a house up here 4 years ago and I couldn't be happier. I am an X-Ray Technologist/Mammographer for 23 years now(graduated from St. Louis County Hosp. in Clayton, Mo in 1984). I also have a Asso. Degree in Quality Control Assurance/ Non-destructive Testing(graduated from Spartan School of Aeronautics in Tulsa,Ok in 1986). But at the moment I love what I'm doing, making sure breast cancers are caught with early detection. I've lived in Tulsa, Ok for 2 years, then moved to Houston, Tx for 9 years. Then moved back to "good ole St. Louie" (I'm being sarcastic)for 2 yrs and got bored so I started traveling as a Lo-cum Tenum (Traveling Radiographer) for a short time. Spent a few months...Expand for more
up in northern part of New Hampshire, (which btw is beautiful country up there) great hiking trails and quaint small town country shops), it was 30 miles for the Canadian border, so of course I had to make a trip to Montreal & Sherbrooke, Quebec.:-) Then my next assignment was in Appleton, Wisconsin for 3 months, where I got another assignment up in Green Bay,WI. I stayed up here and worked as a Temp. X-Ray tech for 1 1/2 years, then got an offer to stay and take a position in the mammography dept. So I've been up here now for 8 years. I like it's a smaller town, not as hustle bustle as St. Louis or Houston, but I have to say, I miss my fast foods from there and the restaurants in both big cities. Whenever I do get back to St. Louis, I always have to stop at Imo's Pizza and get a few made to freeze and bring back here with me. Yeah I know I live in the "Cheese" state, but it's something about Imo's cheese thats so different. I wish they would open a franchise up here, but for some reason I don't think they can. And yes I even miss White Castle's and Jack in the box( love those darn Taco's).
But anyway, just a little update on my life. The road hasn't been easy, but I pray to God everyday, thanking him for being in my life and for bringing me this far. It's been a long journey.
