Donna's Story
After graduation I had one more year in the LPN program at what is now ATEC,so I graduated with that in '82. I started working the summer of '82, passed the state boards that fall. I dated a few random people, then met the love of my life, Gavin, he was/is a MARINE, you know, once a Marine always a Marine. e came home.He got home Mar.'86. Well, we rented until he found a job.Our first child was born in Dec.'87. We moved to our property in Feb.'88 and we've been here ever since.
I continued nursing until I had my second child, then it was time to stop for a while and raise my own children. At present my oldest is 21, and the youngest is 15 and a freshman at LE High. I'm about to start the LPN refresher course at Greenville Tech to reactivate my license so I can get back to work.
