Donna's Story
My name is Donna Ruth Sanders Bragg (Class of 1962). My dad was E.A. Sanders (you probably called him stoneface because he didn't smile much and I guess you thought he was mean). I married John Bragg and we graduated from Abilene Christian University in 1965 and 1966. Our first teaching job was in Midland, TX. John taught industrial arts and I taught business. My dad died in 1976 and we decided to move back to Childress and raise our children in a small town and farm. We still have two children (Darrin has 4 children (3 boys and 1 girl, and D'Anne is married to an artist, and they have 3 little girls. I don't go by Donna Ruth any more--even though Marilyn Johnson and James Self still call me nicknames which came from the name Ruth!! I didn't realize it had been so long since I had written my profile!
