Donna's Story
Hello all!
I am enjoying the life of motherhood while working full time in the education field and the arts field - the best of both worlds. Matt and I have been married for 16 years and have four wonderful children (Trevin, 12 years; Emma, 10 years; Natalie, 5 years; Maria, 1 year). We live on the southeast side of Indianapolis and enjoy living near almost our entire family.
I work at Clowes Memorial Hall of Butler University as the education coordinator of programs entering my tenth year. My work is primarily coordinating with teachers who attend school matinees and implementing professional development for teachers. I also get to teach in classrooms throughout the country using videoconferencing technology. I taught for seven years at the elementary level - 3 years...Expand for more
at Triton Elementary, third grade. It was quite a lot of fun to teach at the school I once attended along with some of the teachers who taught me. My last class of third graders just graduated from Triton Central this year, which was pretty amazing.
Matt is the performing arts chair at Fishers High School. He teaches drama, speech and IB theatre classes. He leads the speech team at Fishers and has qualified students for the National tournament for the last 11 years. That is certainly his calling.
Much like in high school I haven't stopped doing and going to athletic, arts or church-related activities - it is what is important to me - faith, family and fun!
I look forward to seeing those who attend the reunion in July. It will be great to reconnect with you all.
