Donna's Story
i have to say I hated going to school. The reason was because of some girls that always put me down. also a teacher that said I would never have anything or make anything of myself. Today I would like to show her that I have done what she said I wouldn't be able to do. I am a book keeper,and owner of 2 companys! Custom Care selling braces, making legsand arms for people that have lost their do to amputations. The D.L.Waddle Co.Inc. !The most rewarding thing is being a mother and a grandmother!
While in school I worked at H.L.Greens across from the state house. met a lot of interesting people while there.
I met my husband in 1965. He went to Franklin Heights high school. We married in Aug.1968 after he came home from bootcamp. Army. We have 4 children. 2 in Heaven .A baby girl that lived 7 hours and a son that was killed by a drunk driver at age 23. We have 10 grandchildren. ages 3 to ...Expand for more

My husband is a concrete contractor. We own our own company D.L.Waddle.
I have 3 horses ,6 barn cats ,a beautiful collie dog, 2 parrots and some ducks. Love animals!!
We have been blessed even in the loss of our 2 children the Lord has watched over us. We give him Thanks . It is a hard thing to do going through the death of your children.
I enjoy doing many different crafts. Sewing,drawing,embroidery both hand and sewing machine. stained glass windows for our church. painting pictures on the walls of our church for the small children was one of the most rewarding things I've done. Noah's ark. all 4 walls with big animals. Quilting a blanket of every corvete made for one of my brothers was so much fun. The look on his face was the biggest reward a person could get!
I love to read. I collect dolls. have over 500. from old to new. And spending time with my husband and family.
