I, like others, signed up for classmates.com out of curiosity. I have not been able to attend reunions or visit, so I thought this would be a way of finding out what other classmates and friends from the past have done throughout the years. Although I am originally from Juneau, when I was young - our family moved to Kodiak, so I attended both Kodiak High, and Juneau-Douglas. I miss Juneau, Sitka and Kodiak. While in high school - I ran x-country and track, was involved w/choir, the play Fiddler, and my senior year, I was JDHS vice president of student body. (Has anyone seen or heard from Steve Rausch? Steve was the JDHS president.). In Kodiak, I was involved in choir and band, and track. I met military personnel when I lived in Anchorage (played/watched rugby), San Diego, and Iowa. In June 1984, I started working as a legal assistant at the Anchorage DA's office. I have taken college courses to obtain my paralegal certificate. I currently reside in Las Vegas, Nevada (no I don't gamble, rarely do I go the "strip," or go to buffets, however, I do occasionally like to drive to Cali and buy a few lottery tickets.) I have lived in N. California; Washington (near Mt. St. Helens when it blew); Anchorage; San Fran; San Diego, Burlington, IA, and Seattle.
