Donna's Story
God bless technology. I am awed by the opportunities to reconnect with our past while sitting comfortably at my desk.
I lived in Norman and attended school there from my freshman year until the last month of my junior year. This was a very significant time in my life and I have only good memories of the years spent in school there. I moved to a small town, Madill, in 1958 and graduated from Madill High School in 1959 but never felt as connected to that school as I did to Norman High.
After graduation I was married young,moved to California, had three daughters, obtained my AA degree and worked as a medical secretary, divorced...Expand for more
in 1975, remarried in 1978, had a son in 1980, moved to Tucson, Az in 1984, worked at the U of A as benefits administrator for 12 years, retired in 2001 and now we travel and just enjoy life. My husband is a physicist, still employed by Raytheon as a senior scientist.
I loved Norman, the high school and the people I met there. I left as a tall, thin, shy girl who had never been kissed, nothing really remarkable about me but I have been blessed with a wonderful life and remember you all fondly. I have been searching for Lucinda Rohrer with no success. If anyone has any information I would like to hear from her or about her.
