Donna's Story
Life
Lets see, live in so called sunny California in the capital city of Sacramento been here since 1984, unfortunately never had children, I have a Black Lab named Bud he's a little weird for a Lab doesn't like water he was a pound puppy think he developed his dislike for water there overall he is good dog. Was married for nearly 30yrs now seperated (long boring story)however we are still each others best friend. Just bought my first house since the seperation what an experience that was especially with the outrageous house prices here.
I guess you could say I am every guys worse nightmare or possibly there favorite person... a woman who knows about cars.I work in the auto parts aftermarket business which for most women is not too glorious but with my love of muscle cars it works great for me plus having that unusual knack for knowing about cars its always a unique experience to see the guys faces when I am the one helping them fix their cars! I love drag racing especially Wed. nite street racing with my 95 Camaro but just recently had to give it up (cost of repairs on a daily driver gets up there)
Ok, so now everyone knows I came out of that "nice shy girl image" to finally have a little moxy! I long for Arizona am looking forward to moving back most likely within the next 5yrs and make it my home again. Wish everyone well!

Going for my BS in Business it seems nowadays just having the experience is not good enough so back to school to get the degree, do not advise others at our age to try doing Algebra it was a pain way back when and has not gotten any easier!
Workplace
As they say "you've come a long way baby" from being a taco bender at El Taco a waitress at Bob's Big Boy (horrible job terrible boss) learned more than I ever wanted to know about printing labels and printing in general, started college only to quit within a year, worked part-time for the infamous Bob Perry and his wheel standers mostly doing misc. stuff but got me interested in racing! then other part-time jobs one after another finally got into Promotional work with Safeway Stores, loved doing that job but like a lot of companies got downsized out of a job, went into auditing auto part stores books to inventory then finally into the retail automotive aftermarket
even though it is not a glamorous job it seems to fit me well. Sure beats the heck out of an office/cubical work been there done that and found I don't go for office politics and drama. Managing seems to be something I do well which is a long ways from that quiet person a lot people never got to know.
The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Jean Ferry, because have not heard or spoke to in many years.
