Donna's Story
Life
With my parents moving so much during my high school days, I had the opportunity to experience the challenge facing a teenager with making new friends, and living in new places. I started high school at Hobbs. Towards the end of my Sophomore year, we moved to Oklahoma where I enrolled at Moore. A whole new world opened up before me. I was astonished at the difference in culture alone not ever being in another school district other than Hobbs. At mid point of my Jr. year, we moved to Canadian Ok., where life was definately different there. I believe I stayed grounded more my Jr year than any time in my life. My parents decided to make yet another move at the end of my Jr. year. This time to Ada, OK. Kay Yeargan and Jackie West took the lead and accepted me for who I was, no more, no less. Other students became friends and memories grew. I met Garry and the world changed from there. Garry Brendle and I are divorced now, but he remains a good friend. Today I work for the Cherokee Nation as a Floor Manager at a Casino. I am a Native American Artist, and have been quite successful with my art.
My 3 boys, are the stars in my eyes. They kept me young, and the smiles they gave...No one can take away. I'm very proud of my boys, and my Grandchildren.
Today I live east of Muskogee, and share a place with my fiance Ben.
My friends, that is it pretty much in a nut shell. I always look at names and answer e mails. Some I do not remember, but some I remember with a smile..........

Workplace
I have covered a lot of miles with my work history, from ranch hand with several top Quarter Horse Farms. Currently with Cherokee Casino Fort Gibson Oklahoma. My most memorable job, and it was no job really, was raising my 3 sons, and watching each one become their own person and become successful in each their own way.
