Donna's Story

Life I am a widow. Larry and I would have been married 40 years November 2005. I've been a nurse for 40 years;I work with abused and neglected children in the court system.(People at social gatherings who ask me what I do run away very quickly) We have three children: Jeff, Malibu CA; Angela, Ellinwood, KS; and Jeremy, Lawrence...two grandchildren:...Expand for more
Josh, 17; Hannah, 10. I have degrees in nursing and pastoral ministry, but "Grandma" is the best role I've ever played. I'm working to purge my home of all the "stuff" we've accumulated all these years; I'm trying to simplify my life. I have osteoarthritis in my knees and I walk like "Grandpa McCoy". God continues to bless me in all kinds of ways.
