Donna's Story
Life
I am divorced with three incredible children, 21, 19 and 18 (two girls and one boy). All three are students at the University of Tennessee.
College
I graduated from West Georgia College in 1977, then went back for my law degree at the University of Tennessee College of Law in 1995. I now practice law in Knoxville, TN, as a partner in the firm of Schwamm, Albiston and Smith, PLLC. I am also an adjunct professor of law at the University of Tennessee College of Law in Knoxville.

ter graduating law school in 1998 and passing the bar exam, I began solo practice and remained solo until January 2003 when I joined the law firm of Schwamm & Albiston. October 1, 2003, I became a partner in the firm changing the name to Schwamm, Albiston and Smith, PLLC. My practice is primarily domestic law, with some criminal and juvenile law. I also serve as an adjunct professor of law at the University of Tennessee College of Law where I teach Domestic Violence Litigation through the Legal Clinic.
