Donna's Story
Hi Everyone,
Well almost 50 years has gone by and to honest I don't know where it went so fast. I am married to Dan Bekar, who is a teacher at Columbiana. I am still working part-time at Macy's in Boardman. I work to keep busy, see people and buy clothes. See nothing changes in 50 years. I was on the Columbiana School Board for 12 years and on the Columbiana Career Center school board for 10 years. I totally enjoyed that experience. At the present time I am on the Planning Commission for the City of Columbiana.
We have five children and nine grandchildren. Naturally , we are proud of ...Expand for more

I am an avid reader in the winter, but when summer comes I love being outside. We have a large water garden and so the flowers, fish and yard are my favorite place go be. I just came back from Florida and I must say I enjoyed coming back to the cool weather. I know you will think I must be nuts but I really love the seasons as I know them in Ohio. I like going from cold to warm tp hot and then back.
I don,t think I'm Florida material.
I'm loving life and life has been very kind to Dan and I and all our family.
