Donna's Story

Life Moved to Des Moines from Davenport during junior year and graduated from Roosevelt High. Graduated from Ames in Home Ec and moved to KC.MO, New Orleans,and then to San Francisco. Married Fred Levy (owner of Blum's Candies)and had two kids; Fred died in 1967. Started The Donna Dodson Collection, a giftwares/greeting cards sales org. w/shorooms in LA and SF. Closed biz in 1990, moved to Laguna Beach for 3 years; married ...Expand for more
college friend, John Hollowell in 1997, and moved to Charlotte NC to be near duaghter Donna Jr. and her family (two grandsons). Separated from John in '99 (decided we'd rather be friends than married) and started a fabulous new business, "Concierge of Charlotte", in Nov 2000, with a partner, combining my decorating/graphics skills with her family trauma counseling skills.
