Donny's Story
To anyone who cares: I just woke up from a coma March 18. 2009 after being run over by a drunk driver. After opening my eyes I discovered I had massave injuries, broken back, broken pelvis, broken collar bone, broken arms, and legs. My right foot was severed and reattached. I was told that I was left in the road for dead and never expected to recover from the injuries. I was informed by the doctors who put me back together that I would never walk again or run / bike ride or any sports. After many months of surguries and rehabilitation, and putting all my faith in God, I am now benching 250 lbs, I walk over 16 miles,...Expand for more
per day, I bike ride, I can no longer run but thats ok. I have reinvented my whole life.
Before all of this I worked as an engineer for Pratt Whitney, Puradyne Technologies as a mechanical engineer. I finally decided to fully retire and enjoy the rest of my life doing all the things I truly love. Traveling, laying in the son Beaches, sky diving, car racing, working out I am very happy, and hope that any one that reads this will also know to that God says all we have to do is ask and it shall be given unto us.
