Doreen's Story
Where does the time fly. I know it flew by in the last 5 years as I went back to college and earned my accounting degree. Started playing my trombone again and had joined the Monroe Community Concert Band which led me to play in a couple Monroe Community Church productions (and I will add that contemporary Christian music can be very challenging). rforms for the Monroe Arty Gras fundraiser and am looking to the future in a new quintet soon to be starting. Guess you can never get rid of the band geek. One thing that's been constant is I'm always in the gardens pulling weeds.
My only son Joe, graduated from Monroe in 2001, joined the Army and served in both Afghanistan and Iraq. He's just completed his computer training is has joined in the hunt for a job. He is definately the apple of my eye.
