Doreen's Story
Hmmm..let's see... the last time any of you saw me, I was probably ditching Biology class out on the smokers bridge..Since then though, I've been married twice and have 2 kids (tossed the husbands, kept the kids). My son Kyle is 33yo, is an electician, married with 2 kids, and my daughter Lindsay is 24yo, is a nurse, married, and with no kids yet..I have 2 grandbabies, Darek 8yo, and Zhaunetta 5yo, and they are the loves of my life!
I retired in May '08 after 28 years as a 911 police/fire/medical dispatcher for Clackamas County (bet none of you thought I'd ever wind up in any kind of law enforcement, eh? hehe) and since then I've b...Expand for more
een keeping myself busy doing all the things I never had time to do during my career..Everyday now is a new adventure, and I never know until I wake up in the morning what I'm going to do or where I'm going to be that day..I LOVE the feeling of that kind of freedom and I wouldn't have it any other way.
My life has been good with the normal ups and downs, and I can't really say I have any complaints..
Though I never actually 'graduated' with the class of '74, I came close enough, so I'm going to crash the party anyway! Can't wait to see all of you.. :)
