Doreen's Story
I met Eric Kintzer (Class of 1977) when I was 6 years old. He was my childhood sweetheart.
When I was 11 years old, he spent the entire summer vacation hanging around. He told me he wanted to marry me and actually was trying to get me pregnant over the course of the summer.
The summer in 1972, we moved to Bloomington, CA. One night he convinced me to sneak over to his house to spend the night with him. My parents found out and were forbidding us to see each other again. After a few months we lost contact again.
In 1975, I moved to Fontana and enrolled into Fontana Hi...Expand for more
gh School. I became shy and wasn't very socialable. He started flirting with me and walking me to my classes. I was so scared I quit school and enrolled into Bloomington High the very next day.
In 1988, our paths crossed and & have kept in touch ever since. Although it took an additional 15 years to remember that he was actually my childhood sweetheart.
It's 2008, the memories are back. Eric, I know you loved me. It's been over 40 years, what happened to the fairytale we once had as kids? Our dreams of spending our life together, becoming rich from our story.
