Doreen's Story
While at Northwestern, I majored in Speech Education and was active in Theater and teaching creative dramatics. AFter graduating from N.U. I began a teaching career and got married. I retired from teaching as a reading teacher after 26 years. I have always been involved with theater and teaching acting classes as well. appily married, my husband, Larry, passed away in 2007. I am very fortunate to have a loving family and friends to keep me busy. I have attended NU alumni classes and highly recommend them. I have many fond memories of Northwestern. When I was young, there was a cute guy who worked in the commuter cafeteria--I believe he might have been a Tau Delt. Don't remember his name--but I would love to hear from him.
