Dorian's Story
Life
After school I joined the AF for several years, got married, settled into housewiferie, survived raising the kids and molding the husband. We settled in my husband's hometown and we continue to remodel the old house in the country.
School
Hated the steps in the front of school but loved TEEJay. Played field hockey, sang in the A-Cappella Choir and have wonderful memories of all the girls in the Y-Teen Club. I remember the blue room where we all went to sneak a smoke (girls bathroom, second floor)and how small the hall lockers were.
College
I started my college education with the Community College of the Air Force. I added credits through the St. Leo campus at Langley AFB VA and through the University of Maryland (Eurpean Division) at RAF Mildenhall in England. I enjoyed studying the Arts and Humanities and specialized in research.

housewife. My husband and I, for his full 30 years, always lived on a military base. Child care was always an issue, so I would set up home day care services on our different assignments, even overseas. In England I also worked for the DOD schools in the severely handicapped classroom. Other jobs included Training Manager for a government logistics contractor in Del Rio TX and most recently as a receptionist for a local corporation. Now, past 50, I am contemplating what to do next.
