LOVVVVVVVVVVVVE
In my eyes true love is one of those things that can be explained in a simple manner. Love is mysterious and mystifying. For me love does not just have a simple definition, it is explained through many different actions and emotions. I think that true love makes you feel like you are bursting at the seams, but at the same time, is the most content feeling in the world. There are different kinds of love, but none of them compare to true love. Love takes understanding, appreciation, and equality. Love needs understanding in order for two people to truly accept each other. Love takes appreciation because without it, you will always have tension and love needs equality...Expand for more
in order for two people to fully appreciate each other. Now I don’t mean equality in the manner of personal belongings. Money, assets, and materials things have nothing to do with the equality I am talking about. You have to see each other as equals. Equal beings in a relationship, equal beings in their roles, and more than anything equal beings in life. If one person sees themselves as more or better than the other person, it is doomed for failure. I think that many people believe they are in love, but they aren’t. I also believe love doesn’t always last forever. People change and if they are not willing to accept each other’s changes it will never work out. I have asked my parents about their relationship and if they thought they were truly in love, and the way they have described it, is just amazing to me. When they talk about it they can barely find the words to describe it. It is beautiful to see them talk about it, they just light up. All I can hope for is to find love for another person in this world like my parents did. Whether it lasts or not I still want it, it is better to love and lost, than to never have loved at all.".
