Doris's Story
Hi everyone. I thought I would finally update this. I moved from Twentynine Palms the summer between 7th and 8th grade to the beach in Orange County, CA. I have been in that area ever since. I went to San Diego State and got an opportunity to be a school librarian in Australia. I was there for almost 2 years and came back home. I then was a school librarian in Barstow for about 7 years before they downsized. I again came back to Orange County. I have been working as a Library Assistan...Expand for more
t since then at various law firms. Currently, for the last 10 years, I have been in Newport Beach.
Never married and at the moment am taking care of Mom who is 97. I have 2 dogs, vairous birds and fish. Enjoy travel when I can and walking and hiking in between cleaning bird cages (15 birds at the moment).
Have been back to Twentynine various times. Boy has that place changed. Also marvel at how San Clemente and San Diego have changed since I went there. People and times will do that.
