Doris's Story
I moved to Baton Rouge about 10 years ago. I've three children in three different states, and this looked the least expensive and most hopeful for my "later" years. All ages dance together. A big attraction.
I'm happily unmarried and work full time for a major corporation here as a 1950's mathphobe in the accounting department. My life of irony.
Somehow this suits me, and I'm grateful for the current range...Expand for more
of well being and health I enjoy. I garden. This mostly consists of using a machete on the Virginia Creeper, and risking heat stroke dressed to ward off fire ants. Guess who's winning? I read a great deal, lately Mary Roach's witty science books Gulp, Stiff, Bonk and Packing for Mars.
I do draw and paint infrequently but with intensity.
