Doris's Story

Life I moved back to Texas in 2003 after 28 years being in Illinois. My career is early childhood, and I currently work as a master teacher in a two year old classroom at a Children's Courtyard Lab school. I have a miniature long haired dachshund named Schnitzel, and I bought my house in 2004. I absolutely love my house, and that I am able to garden. I have more land than my sister, who lives here too, because I live in an older section of town. Yea for me! College My college life was great! Went to parties, won the best Halloween cost...Expand for more
ume contest, went trick-or-treating, went and had my picture taken with Santa Claus, won the best deocorated dorm door, saw some risque movies (LG, does YOUR mother know you're here? lol)and made some truly wonderful friends that I wish I would have kept in contact with. Sitting in the lounge talking until the wee hours, getting Avanti's gondolas (the best!), taking classes together, sleeping in, skipping classes (not the best idea I have ever had) and taking some interesting classes are just a few of the things I remember about good old ISU.
