Doris's Story
Then: My parents were stationed at Lytton Home for the last two years of my high school education. I was an enthusiastic supporter of the Greyhounds and attended all the games. Cheered Jerry Davis, "Filthy" McCleen and the other team members in Football and Basketball season. I belonged to the Bible Club. Great memories of those last two years of school!
Now: I am retired and living between La Quinta, CA, Redondo Beach, CA, and Honolulu HI. I graduated from St. Lukes' Hospital School of Nursing in San Francisco in 61 and worked as an RN prior ...Expand for more
to attending The Salvation Army School for Officers being commissioned and ordained in 65. My husband Joe and I served 40 years in the SA in California, Arizona, Hawaii, Sydney,Australia, and New York. Our last appointment was Territorial Leaders of the USA Eastern Territory where I was the Territorial President of Women' Organizations. I have two sons, and five grandchildren who are the delight of my life!
Wish I could attend the reunion but unable to come! I hope there will be lots of photo's on Face Book of the event!
