Life
I'm 68 years old and retired. My husband and I moved to Utah in 1990 after spending 45 years in So. Cal. We retired to Utah because it has the most beautiful scenery in the world. I refer to southeast Utah, the land of the Colorado Plateau. We now live in the small(pop.5000)town of Moab. Our nearest large city is Grand Junction Co., 110 miles to the east. There is almost nothing between us and them but beautiful desert. We are bordered on the west by 4 national parks and countless wonders that are known only to those brave enough to go off road to find them.

etiring, we lived in Canoga Park, Northridge, and lastly Huntington Beach. We had 3 children, one of whom died in 1980 at 19 in an auto accident. Our eldest son lives here in Moab with his family and our daughter is in Seattle with her family.
After the kids were grown, we did a lot of traveling to Europe, Africa, and India. It was always a dream of mine to be able to do these things and thanks to the good Lord I got my wish.
Life has been good and I hope I'll live to see much more of it. Incidentally, for those of you who knew my Mom, she died in 2000 at the age of 102!
