Dorothy's Story
Dear alumni from Academy of the Pacific/Honolulu Junior Academy,
I am amazed at how many of you view my profile, and frustrated because you don't leave messages! I really do want to know where you are and what you are doing.
After four years as professi0r of education at Hawaii Pacific University teaching teachers, I was called back to AOP as interim head of school! in August of 2008. HPU generously allowed me to take two year's leave of absence without pay.

back on our beautiful campus. The faculty continue to be outstanding, caring educators and the students are probably like you were: outgoing, questioning, curious, and rascally.
In July, the new permanent head of school began. His name is Lou Young and he is doing an outstanding job of running AOP, so I am back at Hawaii Pacific University teaching teachers part time and am very happy.
