Dorothy's Story

Life Hello Everyone! It has been a long time! Recently relocated from the Washington, DC area, I now live in the Tuscarora Mountain Region of PA with my husband Jesse and have 3 children. Our oldest daughter, Daley turned 13 this past July. Willow, our youngest daughter is 3 and 1/2 and our son Harrison is a very busy 1 year old who has his 2 older sisters wrapped right around his pinky finger! I recently retired from the United States Department of Defense where I worked as an Executive Chef Director. My husband Jesse is a Linquist and Chinese Translator and Senior Intelligence Analyst for the US Department of Defense. We were married in July of 2001 and have been together going on 10 years. Sadly, My Father passed away on October 18, 2004 from kidney cancer. My Mom who is in her 80's lives in their retirement home and remains very active with her birding, and social activities and her beloved grandchildren. hiking, gardening together, visiting with friends and family, attending church and working on the restoration of our antique brick colonial homestead. I am still a professional musician and published songwriter. I perform in local Christian venues and am no longer touring on the road. Currently, I am in the studio working on my latest cd. My incredible family and friends and my Savior Jesus Christ are the inspiration to my songs and to the peace and tranquility I have found in my life. Jesse, who is also a published author and historian is working on his latest book. He and I also write children's stories together and are in the process of publishing our first book as a writing team. It would be great to hear from friends from school. Life has kept me so busy for the past 25 years I admit I am remiss in keeping in touch with all of you! It would be fun to reconnect and hear what you all have been doing as well.
