Dorothy's Story

Back in High School I was known as Dottie and was pretty shy. I wanted to be an illistrator for a card company or a singer. Instead I worked for an insurance company for over 43 years. I am married and in 1989 we were blessed with a beautiful daughter, who in turn...Expand for more
has blessed us with two beautiful granddaughters. I am currently retired spending my time quilting, sewing garments, working with the women's auxiliary of the VFW (my husband is a Vietnam Vet), looking after my granddaughters whenever needed and trying to keep busy.

Our neighbors greenhouse looks so pretty at night with the grow lights! My granddaughters would think it was a play house in their favorite color just for them.
It is with a heavy heart I announce the passing of my beautiful companion of 16 years, Shyla Wee Lass. She gave me unconditional love and I will miss her dearly. Rest peacefully little girl.
