Dorothy's Story
Life
At age 14, I got my 1st summer job at a SF Hospital and have been working in Hospitals ever since! Longest stint at Mt. Zion Hospital, and when it closed down, I went over to our Affiliate Hospital UCSF. Became a Teacher (Medical-Vocational Ed.) about 9 years ago. I'm still learning myself and am taking classes at SFSU currently. I'm working on my "Clear Credential" and also working towards a degree in Adult/Voc.Ed. With teaching 2 nights a week, working at the Hospital 3 days a week and taking classes, there isn't a whole lot of time for much else!
Add to all this the usual daily life stuff, raising a family, etc. This is my life-...Expand for more
I love it. Can't wait for my regular breaks though-school holidays, vacations, etc.
Thank God for E-Mail! I'm finally getting the hang of it, and love to get mail-so keep in touch!
By the way, all the Erhard kids went to Mission High! Freida, Myself (Dot), Fred, Anita and Helen. Last Class Reunion I went to was the Cruise, we all went actually, and had a ball!
Lastly, Freida and I were in "Mission In Motion" while at Mission High. Miss Pat Murphy was the Instructor. I'm interested in contacting my classmates from Mission and of course anyone that was in Miss Murphy's Dance class and or ROTC since most of my time at Mission was spent there.
