Dorothy's Story
Life
Living currently in Chadds Ford, PA, after departing from New Jersey in the early 70's. My working career with the Du Pont Co. started in 1956 [Eastern Lab (Explos Res & Dev Div) in Gibbstown, NJ, transferring to Explos Cus Serv in Wilm., DE, in '74] ending with retirement in '85, with 29 yrs.' service. My husband and I traveled extensively overseas and he also retired from Du Pont, with 37 yrs' service in '85. I am married, with 6 stepchildren, 16 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren. stucco additions) on 6 acres with a bank barn. Having had numerous animals over the years (chickens, ducks, geese, sheep, horses, a pig, a goat, dogs, cats, pond fish, wildlife) in our animal family, it has been wonderful, living in Chester Co., in the Brandywine Valley...hunt country with much history. Living so close to Phila, PA; NYC, NY; Wash, DC; and, of course, the 'Jersey Shore'. Also, loving my visits to Cape May Point, NJ; Bar Harbor, Mount Desert Island, ME; Cape Cod and Martha's Vineyard, MA; and Williamsburg, VA. I feel blessed.
