Dorothy's Story

I hope to be remembered as a nice person and a good friend. After HS I went to work at Western Union nothing really to do with telegrams I worked in the office. Didn't get married until 75, Had 3 boys and by 82 I was living in North Carolina. My husband worked at Yale up on the Blvd. in Philly and that place closed down and he was transferred to NC. 2 grand children and 1 on the way. My husband passed away in 90. Never remarried. Had a son who passed away in 05 of brain cancer. He was in the US Navy at the time stationed In Italy where he met a girl. When he got sick he was sent to the Naval Hospital in Virgin...Expand for more
ia where he had brain surgery. His girlfriend from Naples came here to visit and to see my son. Became pregnant, went back to Naples to clear up some things then came back here and married my son Jeff. Then had the baby here and when the baby Thomas was 8 months old my son passed away. I've been to Italy 3 times and she Daniela & Thomas have been here 4 or 5 times. My youngest son Ryan & his wife are expecting a baby around December. I retired 2 years ago. HMMMMMM kinda boring sometimes, but I like it still. So, that's my story. There's a lot more to it that that but I think I may have written too much already.
