Dorothy's Story
I was born in San Francisco and grew up in Germany. I was an "Army Brat". The Greater Cincinnati area is 'home' to my heart. It is where my father and his family lived.
One of my favorite memories is of Our Lady of the Highlands in Ft. Thomas, Ky., where I attended school through 9th grade.

In High School I was described as 'eccentric', I think because I was smart but had poor social skills.
I was married twice- it does require social skills to choose a good husband, and I never got that down right. I have two adult sons, but the youngest died this past year (2008).
I became a social worker, but after 2001 retired and took up art. Since 2003 I have been very involved in the USCG Auxiliary and serve as the District Seven Publications officer.
