Life
Retired in 1998 after 18 yrs as an Executive Secretary for a non-profit, social service United Way agency. Two children, two granddaughters. Daughter and family live in Mechanicsburg PA. Daughter is Manager of Development for the Whitaker Center for Science and the Arts in Harrisburg and son-in-law, Legislative Liaison for the Pennsylvania Game Commission. Son, a carpenter, general contractor and Home Inspector in Pittsburgh and a member of Civil War 101st PA Vol. Inf. Descendent Reenactors and Color Guard and Sons of Civil War Union Veterans. end time (about 5-6 months in Pittsburgh and 5-6 months in Erie County at the Mouth of Elk Creek with husband and son coming on weekends), research genealogies of husband & my families, member of the Civil War Plymouth Pilgrims Descendents Society, Civil War 101st PVI Civilian Reenactor as a nurse, gardening, reading, antiquing, and do the "Senior" Tiger Gazette (March-June-September-December) newsletter for all A.H.S. classmates on the internet. Husband, Class of 1949, planning to retire in next couple years where he is an Internist at the Pittsburgh Diagnostic Clinic.
