Life Hello Dear Friends, My name is Dortha Mae (WILSON) Spurgeon.....you may remember me as Dorothy...I was born in Malvern, Arkansas and attended Malvern High School for my grades 1 through 6, my family moved to Wilmington, California in 1937 and I attended Banning High School in Wilmington for my grades 7 through 12....I graduated with our 1943 class and I soon married my sweetheart Ray Spurgeon before he went overseas as a soldier in the infantry...It was a miracle he came home from Germany. My occupation has been in the Secretarial field and mostly in Accounting. I have enjoyed church work and studying God's Word! Ray and I had 2 lovely daughters...we now have 5 grandsons,1 granddaughter,3 greats. In 1996 our Lord wanted to take my Ray home to be with Him...Life has not been the same without him, but I am so thankful to have a wonderful family whom I love to prepare large dinners for on special occasions. Our family has many wonderful memories through the 53 years Ray and I were married.
