I graduated in 1966 went to Illinois State University for one year as a music major got really sick and ended up leaving school and came home and took a job at ESO at Great Lakes Naval Base where I met my husband Tom. We started dating in July 1967, he proposed Oct.1st and we got married April 22, 1968. We will be celebrated our 48th anniversary this April and have enjoyed our years together through the thick and thin. We have done several businesses together 11 years a Browns Fried Chicken franchisee in Des Plaines in the 70s. We enjoyed doing two other businesses together Successful Living where we sold Christian books, tapes, etc. to schools, church book tables, county fairs, and home parties. which was a blast!. Then we tried Personal Preference which was a oil painting sales in home parties and selling to businesses I did that for two years and then we moved to Florida and I got sick with Cancer. Fought it for a long time but with Gods help we won the victory! Now we are partners with a wonderful company LegalShield since 2003 and enjoy helping families get great attorney's to protect them with any type of legal matters that are needed and restore their identities if stolen to any and all members of their families for affordable fees. I was blessed that I was able to go home to live with my parents when my dad was so very sick with cancer. It was a special time in my life to be with my dad, he was my best friend - my special person and I miss him deeply.
