Doug's Story
Doug's schools include Gilroy High School. Shortly after high school went to Firestone in Salinas , Married Maria Deleon in 1967 ( class of 67) after 11 years in Salinas we were transferred to Wilson NC . We had three children all raised in NC. Here i was involved in very many engineering projects , most of my own design, received a patent for one of them ., i was able to retire from Firestone in 1987 and we came hom...Expand for more

I was in and out of Gilroy Foods ( four times ) between bouts there i manage a kit assembly operation, was vault Manager for a Target Manafacturer ( prescious metals-many millions of $ in platinum gold diver etc) cut pape,etc all along i had a major collection of Bonsai and a pottery operation where i made all of the Bonsai pots that i needed. Several years ago i got out of Bonsai and retired to Los Banos.
