Doug's Story
Life
After graduation from H.S. I trained in an apprentiship program and became a certified GM Mr.Goodwrench. In 1982 I joined the Air Force and trained for Fire Control Technician on the F-4E. I worked on the F-4 from 1983 to 1989 traveling to Europe and completing an short duty assignment in Korea. I then cross trained to the F-15E working on all the Avionics systems. During this time I completed my B.S. from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. I deployed to the desert for 7.5 ...Expand for more
months to participate in Operation Desert Shield and Storm. I got married in 1986 and now have three children and a beautiful wife. In 1992 we decided we had enough of A.F. life and seperated. I got a job here in Florida working on the Joint STARS aircraft as an avionics electician. Through career progression I am now working in engineering as a test engineer for the prime mission equipment. I am currently working on my Masters degree in Technical Management from Embry-Riddle as well.
