Doug's Story
Life
After high school I got married in 1981. We had our first child in 1982 and our second in 1983 (both boys). Then we moved to Corvallis, OR to attend Oregon State (Beavers, not the Ducks).
After college at OSU I started a career in insurance with Viking Insurance Company and moved to Salem, OR. After a couple of years we moved to Wylie, TX to take over a branch office. We then had our third child, a daughter. We then moved on to Nixa, MO (birthplace of Jason Bourne in the movie Bourne Supremecy). After both my boys graduated, we moved to Olathe, KS where we now reside. I've now completed 19 years in insurance claims and currently work for Farmers Insurance as a Branch Claims Supervisor.

Both of our boys have graduated college (Central Missouri University). Our oldest lives in Orlando and the younger boy lives here in Olathe. Our daughter is still at home for a few more years.
My wife has been a stay-at-home "working" mom and homeschooled our daughter until the 7th grade. She now works part-time for the local community college and is attending classes to finish her 2-year degree.
I still play softball but find that it hurts more than ever before after each game. Hard to get older, isn't it? Also play golf when I find the time and play board games etc. with family.
College
Attended Ventura College for a few years obtained AA and AS degrees. Then went to Oregon State and obtaned BSBA-Management Science/Computer Science. Graduated in 1987.
