Married to Mary (Bletsch) Hawkins from Reeths Puffer class of 71, retired.
I have two daughters: Jill (Hawkins) Newton married to Rob Newton both of Fruitport class of 2002, Kristie Hawkins, Catholic Central class of 2004 and two step sons John Schmidt, Mona Shores class of 1996 and Joe Schmidt, Mona Shores class of 2006. t at DHS (Muskegon County), John is a manager at Whole Foods in Lansing, and Joe is a sales clerk at Staples in Muskegon. Since school I worked as a Miller Beer driver / salesman for 15 years then changed to GTE/Verizon as a sales rep then sales manager for 21 years, retired in 2011. Moved to Norton Shores on Mona Lake in 1999 (my dream). Hang out with Dave Glavich, Mike Gangwer and Jim Smith form school as well as others I have met since then.
