Doug's Story

I met my wife, who is a Filipina, back in '80. We met on a blind date set up by one of her students. She retired from NJIT in 2002, as a Supervisor of graduate students in the Computer Science Department. We've been hitched since '82. Got married at Sacred Heart Church in Lyndhurst. Father Reilly knew the Filipino ceremony very well. We have a 37 year old son, Christopher, who's a Mechanical Engineer designing Aerial Fire Trucks. He's doing well. nt is called Highlands Pointe. We'll be up on a ridge overlooking the city, similar to a view say from Schulyer Ave. into New York, for those of you who know North Arlington. Our plan,(if I make it, :o) is to retire there. But after the house is built, we'll be traveling back and forth. Most likely we'll spend our USA Winters over there and Spring Summers back in the States. Update: I am working in midtown on Park Ave. at 53rd St. New York City with an Operations & Systems Team in their Corporate Ops Group. I always enjoyed the working in New York City. I've added photos to my Community Album, as well. Mabuhay! Filipino for "Long Life!"
